Bookings are accepted on the condition that guests have their own comprehensive travel insurance.
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the quoted safari cost. The balance is payable in full 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation terms are subject to the individual service provider terms & conditions.
Cancellation policy;
More than 120 days prior to reservation, the deposit is returned net of bank charges.
Between 120 days and 61 days, 20% of the full value is forfeited.
Between 60 days and 31 days, 50% of the full value is forfeited.
Less than 30 days (and no shows) - 100% forfeited
Rates review;
We reserve the right to review quoted rates in the event of
currency exchange rate fluctuation, increases in costs or taxes, that are beyond our control. Specifically, flight costs are subject to change with fuel surcharges.
Sights and Scenes Ltd acts only as the booking agent for the safari itinerary, and assumes no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property.
For any change in itinerary by guests whilst on safari, there will be no refund for any services not utilized, and all new arrangements will be for the guests account. The check in time required by airlines for International departures is 02 hours prior to the flight. This allows for delays at the one security screening unit in each terminal, that all passengers go through before arriving at their airline check-in desk. (There is no first class/club class fast track through security screening).
Flying Doctors;
Flying Doctors Temporary Membership: Our policy is to register all safari guests as temporary members of the Flying Doctors Society (www.amref.org) which provides for a medivac flight to Nairobi in the unlikely event of an emergency.
